The ambience is simply mesmerizing as the golden silence is punctuated by only the sounds of birds with the breeze hissing gently through the Devdar trees an then an occasional sound of the village drum adds to the magic.

Ramalya Cottage Ramgarh lets you bring your provisions and set your menu or organize your own provisions. The close by markets is adequate enough for basic needs and dry rations.

GETTING THERE

By road—Located in Nainital district, 340 kms or 7 driving hrs from Delhi via Moradabad, Rampur Haldwani Kathgodam, Bhawali, Ramgarh, Tallaramgarh and Nathuakhan. By train - Take train to Kathgodam then taxi up 2 hrs to Nathuakhan. From here take the road toHartola. Ramalaya Cottage is in Bhalar village 4.5 kms from Nathuakhan on the road to Hartola.

Ramgarh is a small and beautiful hill station and tourist destination on the way to Mukteshwar in Nainital district of Uttarakhand situated at a height of 5000 feet.. As you entered this small hill station you will see the Great Himalayas on your left side and you can fell the importance of this place. The place is famous for its orchids and VIP cottages. Ramgarh is also known as the "Fruit Bowl of Kumaon Region" owing to its verdant orchards of Peach, Apricots, and Pears & Apples.

Ramgarh comprises two parts - Malla, located on an elevation and Talla, located downhill. The daily needs things can be obtained on the road side of this place. The famous Mukteshwar temple is just 20 km from the Ramgarh. The place is settled with large numbers of cottages and villas by some known people.
