A birdwatcher's paradise, Pangot is 15 kms from Nainital and the drive is through the bird habitats of Cheena Peak range forests via Snow View Point and Kilbury. Almost 2000 bird species have been recorded at Pangot and its surrounding areas.

Life in Pangot is so quiet and unhurried that the most exciting activity is a trip to the small, quaint village market. The tea-stalls where villagers meet up is a good place to catch up with local life and spend hours doing nothing but being an observer of 'life passing by'.

Mixed forests dominated by thick ban-oak, pine and rhododendron cover most of the area and surrounding hills. A large part of the landscape is characterized by dense vegetation. Numerous perennial creeks and streams crisscross the area. We are proud to present the first of its kind organic restaurant that serves vegetarian food prepared from vegetables grown in our own green house and kitchen garden. We also serve authentic Kumaoni cuisine, along with continental and Indian food. All milk and milk products are prepared with fresh cow’s milk from our own dairy located in our extensive compound. District Nainital (Kumaon) covers the tropical, subtropical, temperate, sub alpine and alpine zones. The terai & bhabhar belt presents the climate of the plains while the deep valleys with elevation upto 1000 Mts. play host to flora and fauna typical of hills as well as plains.

Cancellation policy:

• Less than 15 days before the arrival date – no refund
• Less than 20 days before the arrival date - 60% refund
• Less than 25 days before the arrival date - 75% refund
• No refund in case of road block, accident, no show etc.
• 50% of the total refundable amount (as per the above policy) will be released after cancellation and balance 50% will be adjust in to the future bookings only
• Any delay or cancellation of hotel booking on account of cancellation of flights or any other transport arrangement due to bad weather or other natural cause will be liable for cancellation charges as mentioned above.
• Resort has right to revise / suspend any tariff/ Package offered at any point of time

How to reach Nainital

Air: Pantnagar airport is situated at a distance of 71 km away from Nainital. This is connected to Delhi International airport. Taxi services are available from airport to Nainital costing about Rs 1500. Delhi is the nearest international airport (350 km), which is well connected with other cities in India and abroad.

Train: Kathgodam is the nearest railway station to Nainital, which is 35 km. Lucknow, Agra and Bareilly are directly connected with Kathgodam by rail. Taxi fare from Kathgodam to Nainital is about Rs 600.

Road: Nainital is well connected to tourist destination like Ranikhet, Corbett, Almora, Binsar, Jageshwar, Kausani, Patal Bhuvaneshwar, Mukteshwar etc.
