Kausani :- At kausani the grandeur of the Himalayan scenery comes alive. The view of the snow-covered Trishul and Nanda Devi is so clear that one gets a feeling of the snows being within touching distance.

Baijnath:- Situated on the Gomtis green banks, in the lush calm Garur valley is the main temple of Baijnath dating back to the 13th century A.D..

Chaukori :- Chaukori is at an altitude of 2010 mts, and boast of grandiose of Chaukhamba to Panchachuli peaks. Field of ripening corn, fruit orchard and tall pine, oak and rhododendron tree make a common sight.

Roopkund :- Roopkund Lake is situated at an altitude of 5029 mts. in the interior of the Chamoli district, Roopkund is famous for the mysterious shallow lake of about 2 mts., with the edges covered with snow almost throughout the year.

Machhi Tal :- Machhi Tal came up in 1928, when the British thought they would breed fish here for personal consumption. This tranquil spot amidst thick forests makes for a lovely picnic spot.
   
Badhangarhi :- Badhangarhi in Gwaldam is a gift of the Maiti movement. This forest is dedicated to the memory of the martyrs of the Kargil war, and is spread over about a three-hectare hilly area.
