Corbett safari timings are:

Morning: Leave from the Resort at 05:30 hrs and return at 10:30 hrs.
Afternoon: Leave from the Resort at 13:30 hrs and return at 18:30 hrs.

Jeep Safari & Elephant Ride:

A guest needs to book the jeep safari first to reach on the Elephant boarding point inside the park. It is purely on first come first serve basis. No prior reservation is possible hence it is strictly subject to availability.

Only morning safari can be booked 15 days in advance by supplying id proof (driving license/photo election card no etc with addresses) along with full non refundable advance to the park authorities. Since number of jeeps entering into the park in the morning are restricted this is also subject to availability. Once booked safari can not be changed or cancelled.

Afternoon safari can be booked only by the guest himself maximum 48 hours in advance. Guest needs to be present at the Corbett Reception (In Ramnagar Town in front of the Main Roadways Bus Station) to do the advance booking.

Info required for booking jeep safari:

1. Names of all the guests with age, gender and also nationality of the guest with PP details in case of foreigners
2. One photo ID proof number (Driving license/Voter ID/PP etc) with address of at least one guest per jeep (Maximum five pax in a jeep
3. Charges for Jeep Safari and Elephant Safari are as per actuals for both Indian and foreigner.

Jim Corbett is a town and tourist destination park situated at a height of 7500 feet, 51 km from Nainital. On top of Corbett a 350 year old temple of lord Shiva known as Corbett Dham. The famous ICRI campus is also situtated at Corbett. Places of Interest in Corbett includes Chauli ki Jali, where you can enjoy rock climbing and rappelling in a deep valley from where you can get the entire view of kumoun region and fell the presence on top of the world.

Himalayan complete ranges on back side of the Temple, including India’s second highest peak Nanda Devi can be best viewed from here. The sunrise point is at the government-run PWD Guest House is one of the beautiful attraction of Corbett where you can enjoy a cup of tea in cool airy breezes. Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest national park in India. Corbett Park has been a haunt for tourists and wildlife lovers for a long time. Tourism at Corbett is only allowed in selected areas of Corbett Tiger Reserve so that people get an opportunity to see its beautiful landscape and the diverse wildlife at Corbett Park. The Jim Corbett National Park is a heaven for the adventure seekers and wildlife adventure lovers alike. Corbett National Park is India's first national park which comprises 520.8 km²

A total of 488 different species of plants have been recorded in the park. Over 586 species of resident and migratory birds have been categorized. Bengal tigers, although plentiful, are not easily spotted due to the abundance of camouflage in the reserve.

Route to Jim Corbett Park: The town of Ramnagar is the headquarters of Corbett Tiger Reserve. There are overnight trains available from Delhi to Ramnagar. Also, there are trains from Varanasi via Lucknow to Ramnagar. Reaching Ramnagar, one can hire a taxi to reach the park and Dhikala.

Ramnagar is also well connected by road with Lucknow,Bareilly, Nainital, Ranikhet, Haridwar, Dehradun and New Delhi. One can also drive from Delhi (295 km) via Gajraula, Moradabad, Kashipur to reach Ramnagar. A direct train to Ramnagar runs from New Delhi. Alternatively, one can come up to Haldwani/Kashipur/Kathgodam and come to Ramnagar by road.

Best Time to Visit Corbett Park: Mid-November to Mid-June.
