Uttarakhand Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Delhi - Jim Corbett National Park
Arrival at Delhi, met by our representative and transfer to Jim Corbett National Park(300 kms/7 hours). Jim Corbett National Park-named after the hunter and naturalist Jim Corbett who played a key role in its establishment-is the oldest national park in India. Early morning arrive to Jim Corbett National Park. Check-in to the resort. After welcome drink, adjustment and freshen up time for local sightseeing and visit to Garjia Temple and Corbett museum. After lunch, Ready for the Evening Jeep safari in corbertt to explore the wildlife in Jim Corbett National Park. Return back to the wildlife resort and time for evening tea and bonfire. Dinner and Overnight at the Resort.
Day 02: Jim Corbett National Park
Morning Jeep Safari inside the Jim Corbett National park. Return to the park gates by 10:30 A.M. After breakfast take some rest in resort. After lunch go for cover the sight sheen near to Corbett. Evening return back to the resort. After that time for bonfire. Dinner and overnight at the resort.
Day 03: Departure to Nainital
Morning after breakfast drive to Nainital. On the way you will cover Corbett fall, Khurpatal, Sariyatal. Nainital is a town in the Indian state of Uttarakhand and headquarters of Nainital district in the Kumaon foothills of the outer Himalayas. Situated at an altitude of 1,938 metres (6,358 feet) above sea level, Nainital is set in a valley containing a pear-shaped lake, approximately two miles in circumference, and surrounded by mountains, of which the highest are Naina (2,615 m (8,579 ft)) on the north, Deopatha (2,438 m (7,999 ft)) on the west, and Ayarpatha (2,278 m (7,474 ft) on the southEvening check into hotel at Nainital. Evening enjoy to walk at mall road Nainital. Dinner and Night stay at Nainital.
Day 4:- Nainital (Local Sight Seeing)
After breakfast drive for lake tour of Bhimtal, Sat Tal, Naukuchia Tal. Drive back to Hotel, Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 05-06 : Ranikhet (50 km)
Ranikhet Day free to independent activities. Ranikhet a picturesque little hill resort, which literally means 'The Queen's Field'is located at the height 1830 meters. The British developed Ranikhet as the military cantonment and now features the Kumaon Regiment. Chaubatia, originally a sanatorium for the British troop, is 10 km from Ranikhet. From this place, one can view the 300 km wide snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas, namely, Nandadevi, Trishul, Nandaghunti and Nilkanth. Ranikhet is also known for Fruit Research center is spread over an area of 265 acres and has four fruit gardens.Baba Hera Khan Temple and Ashram in the vicinity of the Chilianaula village is 4 km from Ranikhet.
Day 07 : Almora - Kausani (40km)
Day free at leisure or independent activities. Almora is located at the height of 1,650 metres above sea level. The town looks out over a fertile terraced valley and four ranges of hills - Banari Devi, Kasan Devi, Shyahi Devi and Katarmal. Swami Vivekanada meditated here. The main thoroughfare is the Mall. The other places of interest are Kasar Devi Temple situated at a distance of 6 km from Almora town is this temple on Kalmatiya Hill, where Swami Vivekanand came to mediate. Udyotchandesvar It houses Kumaon's presiding deity, Nanda Devi, whose festival is celebrated in August/September . Almora once the centre of Kumaoni culture and the capital of the Chand dynasty.
Day 08 : Kausani
Kausani Standing 1890 mts. above the sea level, Kausani is nature's own reserve. Even the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi had contemplated on the beauty of the region. Several snow- capped peaks stand in a stately row, over 300 kms. in length, shining against the azure sky making the horizon as seen from Kausani and enviable spectacle. The glory of the snow crowned Himalayan range reaches its pinnacle when the sunrays turn them into crimson and gold.Mahatma Gandhi, who spent 12 days in 1929 at Kausani, penned his memorable commentary on the Gita-Ana-Shakti Yoga inspired by the scenic grandeur of this richly gifted spot. The guest house where the Mahatma stayed is now known as the Anashakti Ashram.Hindi poet laureate Sumitra Nandon Pant was born at Kausani. Some of his early poems composed here have described nature in its myriad manifestations. Morning see the beautiful sun rise, it will be depend on weather, after breakfast, sightseeing tour of Kausani, Visit Anasakti, Ashram Pant Museum, Lakshmi Ashram, Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09 : Kausani - Mukteshwar (105 km)
Early morning pickup you from your own destination and drive to Mukteshwar . On arrival in Mukteshwar checkin at Hotel. Evening free for exploring the city. Overnight stay at hotel. Mukteshwar is a small town, and one of the most-sought tourist destinations, in the Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand. It is situated at an altitude of 7,500 ft above sea level and is famous for the wonderful 180-degree view of the captivating snow capped mountain ranges that it provides. The second highest mountain-peak of India, Nanda Devi, is also visible from Mukteshwar. The other ranges one can see from Mukteshwar are Neelkantha (Blue-throated Shiva), Trishul (Shiva's Trident), Nanadaghunti (the Veil of the Goddess), and the Panchuli Group.
Day 10 Mukteshwar - Delhi (350 km)
