We are the only and nearest registered Homestay in Dalhousie by the Department of Himachal Tourism and Civil Aviation Department; 1.3km from main square of Dalhousie, i.e. GPO. Just 300 meters from main tourist landmark, Panchpulla.

The Programme at Dalhousie is specially developed for the adventure and nature loving youngsters who have been to different parts of the Himalayas but missed the most beautiful part of it. Site is situated at 6500 ft from SEA LEVEL.

The main reason to come to DALHOUSIE is for stupendous view. It is much quieter, cleaner, less congested and some would say nicer than SHIMLA & many more hill stations. Sprawling over five hills. To the north Dalhousie faces the "PIR PANJAL RANGES", to the South views lead down "THE VALLEY TO THE PLAINS".

DALHOUSIE:
This little hill station holds the beauty & charm of the eighteenth century with all the modern facilities of our time. Surrounded by five hills, Dalhousie is protected by its tall & handsome deodar & oak trees. Its marvellous forest trails overlook vistas of wooded hills, water falls, springs & rivulets. There are also magnificient views of the Chamba Valley and the mighty Dhauladhar ranges with its inspiring snow covered peaks filling an entire horizon.

Honeymooners & Couple Packages are available in seven well-done, neat and clean rooms with modern toilets and hot and cold showers.

CAMP SITE:
Camp site is situated at Punj Pulla, near Ajit Singh Memorial, roughly three Kilometers away from town, in the green forests. The campers can stay in Tents or Dormitory which can accomodate upto 40 campers with modern toilets, Bedding, etc. Seperate tents are also available for couples & groups.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR THE CAMP

WHAT TO CARRY (For Campers Only)
4 Pairs of rough clothes, pull over, jacket, raincoat, towel, sports shoes, socks, a pair of slippers, woolen cap, leather gloves, goggles, Sanitary Requisites, Note Pad & Pen. All these may be packed in a rucksack which is easier to carry on shoulders. Each participant would esencially carry one's own luggage. Kindly do not bring suitcases, etc. as far as possible. Binoculars and camera may be brought at one's own responsibility.

ELIGIBILITY:
Students between the age group of 11 years & above are eligible for joining the camps at DALHOUSIE, Religious, Economy & Elderly Groups can also be entertained.

OTHER ARRANGEMENTS:
Buses & Taxies can be arranged from PATHANKOT Railway Station to DALHOUSIE and back on request. There is a beautiful climb of 48 meters through the forest to our Homestay.
TARIFFS & SPECIALS
Total expenditure would be Rs. 750/- Per participant per day which includes food, Accomodation and Rs. 300/- per person for 3 days for local site seeing, trekking and shopping locally in Dalhousie Market. (Taxes as applicable). For your personal excursions taxies can also be arranged. Terms & Conditions apply.

Room tariff is Rs. 500 per night. (No Meals included, Ala Carte Menu Dishes available at additional charges). Extra beds chargeable at Rs. 200 per bed.

As this is a Homestay, we also offer special package for Boarding & Lodging which is as follows:

• Rs. 750 per person/per day for vegetarian meals (3 meals – BF, Lunch, Dinner including room and board)
• Rs. 900 per person/per day for non-vegetarian (3 meals – BF, Lunch, Dinner including room and board)

Children under the age of three years are accommodated at no charge.

  HONEYMOON PACKAGES: We are offering the cheapest packages for Honey Mooners in well done and exclusive rooms. Away from the maddenning crowd in DALHOUSIE. (Drinks on Arrival)

Sandwiched between the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges, this exquisite valley’s most popular hill town is Dalhousie. This well developed cantonment town is perched on the lower Himalaya of Chamba district, the north-westernmost district of Himachal Pradesh.
