It was created as a place to be, to pause and reflect, to meditate, to remember and to forget, and to bring back the balance in our live. Aside from Himalaica being an ideal base to explore the region, you can find a number of things to do at and around Himalaica itself. Forest walks and treks, bird-watching in the garden, exploring the garden which is replete with a wide variety of plants and flowers, a wide selection of movies, meditation at the temple under the old oak tree, music on the BoseTM surround-sound system in the Conservatory, reading a book from the library – and also just do nothing! There are plenty of places or just chill to sit around the property.

Bhowali has a significant importance in the kumoun region because of its climate and its fruit market. It is well known fruit bowl of this region situated at an altitude of 1706 mt. on Nainital Mukteshwar Road and only 11 km from Nainital District.

At Bhowali, left side you can leave for Ranikhet and right side you can go for Mukteshwar and Bhimtal. The Fruit grown here in April – August season comprises Apple, Apricots, Plums, Peaches offers visitors a great experience in a delicious way. Bhowali has a pleasant climate having fresh and healthy air which suits people suffered with Tuberculosis and lung problems.

T.B. Sanitoruim Bhowali is well known center for Tuberculosis patients, which was built in 1912. The Panchachuli ranges of Great Himalayas can be seen here from here with a walking distance behind the Jungle area.
