Haldwani is well populated town in Uttrakhand and known as the “Gateway of kumoun region”. The railway track was laid between Bareilly and Kathgodam. The first train arrived at Haldwani from Lucknow on April 24, 1884 [4]. Later, the railway line was extended to Kathgodam.
