Birdy House Cottage and Resort Bhimtal
Birdy-House nestles in a tranquil village, surrounded by mountains overlooking a majestic valley and is situated about a 10 minutes walk from the Bhimtal lake. Constructed with locally available stone and wood to give a simple rustic feel, this beautifully designed cottage has tastefully done interiors and modern amenities. Engulfed by beautiful winter sun and situated in simple and peaceful surroundings, one has to get accustomed to the sound of birds creating their morning ruckus on the roof. At the cottage we are frequented by the Sunbird, the red billed Magpie, the Jungle Myna, the long tailed Minivet and Himalayan Bulbul who are your constant companions or the occasional visit of the pheasant fowl. And if you get lucky, you might even see a fox or rabbits too and from a distance hear the sounds of the barking deer!
